Good afternoon, Sir/Madam,

My name is ChinWai, i am writing this, as I am seeing my family member YouDan is suffering disappointing, sad, and being bullying everyday by Mr.Andrew Havill, and his employee Mr. Aarron Poulton, due to the matter in Oct 2022 until now.

In Oct 2022, me and YouDan was on our way from Greymouth to Christchurch about celebrating YouDan 23rd birthday. It was supposed to be a happy day. However, the car YouDan was driving was no accelerating, and ended up stopping in the road. Unfortunately, Mr Aarron Poulton was driving the Aratuna freighters 2 cargos truck right behind us. Instead of stopping Mr. Aarron Poulton decided to pass us in the narrow mountain road where about 8mins drives before Arthur’s Pass no signal narrow mountain road area and ended up bumping our car.

Afterward Mr. Aarron Poulton was carrying on driving without stopping, and we were young and stupid. YouDan was angry about Mr. Aarron Poulton running away, so she restarted the car for chasing him and I was not able to call the police, because it was no signal area. After we found Mr. Aarron Poulton in Arthur’s Pass, Mr. Aarron Poulton said he boss by Mr.Andrew Havill will be handling the bumping matter, and kept telling us do not need to call the police, because of he already agreed that his boss will be fully responsible of this. This was our first time having a car accident, and we had lived in Greymouth for several years, always seeing Aratuna freighters ltd around Greymouth. Therefore, we were agreed Mr. Aarron Poulton letting Mr.Andrew Havill to solve the matter.

The first time we called Mr.Andrew Havill he said he insurance FMG will be able to assist us about the matter. However, the second time we called Mr.Andrew Havill he started no answering the call for many of times, until we used a different phone number , and he attitude was 100% different asking us about what do we wanting from him with swearing words and he was saying it was our car turning and reversing to damaging the truck, instead of the truck bumping us when was passing hardly, refusing further discussion. Ended up meeting Mr.Andrew Havill and Mr. Aarron Poulton in disputes tribunal on the Mar 2023.

Finally, the case was dismissed, because we did not call up the police on time. Also we were believing Aratuna freighters, Mr.Andrew Havill and Mr. Aarron Poulton character and reputation at that time. Therefore, my opinion on this matter being a customer of Aratuna freighters and living in Greymouth for many years. Me, my family and my friends are strongly disappointed about the ways of how their management team, and employees acted to get away from matter by lying, distorting the fact, no responsibility, using and bullying people kindness, simple and trust..

These are the damaged photos from the attachment about the cars. There is only damage on the side of the car, nothing on the back if the car was turning and reversing said by Mr.Andrew Havill. Therefore, I am trying to start a fundraising for YouDan to repair for her car, as living in NZ especially rural area without a car is hardy doing anything.
